Cam's Garden

Our most recent project was named 'Cam's Garden', Cam is just 15 years old and was born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle wasting disease, which results in him being in a wheelchair. Cam loves dinosaurs and really enjoys being outside, but needed an accessible garden.

An amazing landscape layout had already been prepared and funded by the Medway Sunlight Rotary and Youth Trust, but the garden was lacking in plants! Approached by Countryside Properties South to help, we were able to make a sizeable contribution with the help of our very generous plant suppliers Allgrowth Ltd, and bark mulch suppliers AHS Ltd, providing and installing a wide variety of fantastic plants and planting materials to get Cam's dream dinosaur garden finished.

We were extremely proud and delighted to assist with the finishing touches to this project, we even added a seasonal Christmas tree to really top it off! Thans to all those who contributed to finising Cam's Garden, he absolutely loves it!

St Luke's Park, Runwell Landscaping

Take a look at our ongoing work at St Luke's Park, Runwell.

A Countryside development, just outside of Chelmsford, St Luke’s Park prides itself on being a ‘landscape led approach’, something we’re also very proud of!

Built by a historical chapel, the new homes and landscaping features bring a modern feel to the area. The fantastic show homes are complemented by the well thought out landscaping, with stylish decking, fascinating plants and impeccable details.

Beautiful hanging baskets and plotted plants surround unusual trees, for these striking gardens, but we haven’t just concentrated on individual gardens, as the first thing you see coming into the development, the surrounding areas were very important to make aesthetically pleasing to make Runwell a greener and more appealing place to live.

Headcorn, Kingsbridge Landscaping

The MBM Landscape team used lots of stylish and simple landscaping elements to complement the modern but classic design of the houses at the Countryside Kingsbridge site.

Where country meets town, our job was to bring alive a rural village feel with lots of greenery, stunning plants and other interesting additions to the gardens and surrounding areas of Kingsbridge, located just outside of the historical Maidstone in Kent.

Large potted plants stand alongside pristine lawns and modern decking and seating areas for the perfect addition to any new home.

Ferriers Barn, Bures Landscaping

MBM recently completed an accessable garden project at Ferriers Barn, Bures. Ferriers Barn, an arts and crafts centre for young disabled people, needed a garden that allowed these members to develop their interests in pleasant surroundings, and this is where MBM got involved. Through lottery funding that the centre recieved, a fantastic garden specifically for the use of disabled people and those with learning disabilities was created.

The 6 week long project involved building substantial foundations for rubber safety servicing and raised planters using railway sleepers which were built from scratch and filled with top soil. Wheelchair planters were also installed to enable those unable to walk the chance to enjoy gardening, with plans for more flowers and a sand sensory area to be created. The garden was in loving memory of Julie, a former member of the centre.

MBM were extremely proud of the garden and to be helping the local community, and hope to get the chance to do more of these inspiring and unique projects.
